Here I come!

This is my first attempt at setting up my blog, pray for me and my computer. I have enjoyed my daughter Amanda's blog so much that I decided to try this out for myself. Many of Amanda's stories are about the most important things in my life, our family. There is nothing greater than having a family and I am blessed with a great one. I was born to be a grandmother and adore seeing the pictures Amanda posts on her blog along with the stories about the pictures. We have 10 grandchildren so far, 4 of which are Amanda's, and more would be fine with me if God decides to send more our way through any of our children. You have now been warned that many pictures will be on this blog of my children and grandchildren, some will be heartwarming while others will be crazy and funny because that is the way life is and I love taking pictures.
As you can see from the picture I am also a NASCAR fan, bigtime. My husband and I enjoy watching to races together and have been to the two Daytona races this year along with some of our children/grandchildren, what fun. In October we are going to another race in North Carolina which should be fun as well as beautiful and cool. Living in Florida it gets pretty hot and we will enjoy the race, the activities before the race and the cool weather will be a plus. Of course my man Dale, Jr. will beat Jeff Gordon, who is the driver my husband likes most, although he will not agree with this statement at all.
Enough for my first attempt at this, more will come later if I do things just right and push the right buttons, don't throw the computer against the wall or be blown away by Fay. :)

Nice to meet you Maw Maw Sandy! I got here via my Gigi's blog to Amanda's to you. Your blog is very impressive - I tried buuut,at present didn't get far before faceprint came along which I still can't fathom it all. I do have a family website to maintain but lately it has about maintained itself. You mentioned the Villages and it rang a bell as my aunt moved there last year. We have yet been to visit but hear it is a city in itself.

Now that I've found your neat blog I will probably visit often, but probably comment only sporatically.
I enjoy seeing Amanda at Griffis "dos" and since Shelby and Madi are best friends, cousins and "velcro-hips."

truly yours,
